Angel Caregivers

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
DHTI provides a 160-hour in-person Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) training program, specifically designed for bilingual and bicultural individuals aspiring to become direct care workers.

Home Health Aide (HHA) Training
This 40-hour in-person Home Health Aide (HHA) Training is tailored for Asian language-speaking CNAs, aiming to advance their careers as Home Health Aides. Active CNA license or expected license within the year required.

Direct Support Professional
The Direct Support Professional (DSP) is a free training done in partnership with Castro Valley Adult & Career Education. This training will provide students with training on how to help people with physical or intellectual disabilities to live a more fulfilling and independent life.

DHTI’s Direct Care Workers include training to become Community/Behavioral Health Workers, Caregivers, Respite Care workers, or Nursing Assistants.
Community Health Worker Apprenticeship
Paid 6 Month-Community health worker training (Virtual and In-Person)
Time Commitment: 20 Hours/Week, $1800 Monthly Stipend
